Working on your feedback

We have started to implement a key bindings menu, where you'll be able to customize the controls to your liking.

You can get a sneak peek at it here:

We've also tweaked the air controls, now you can move back after you've started an air attack.

A big thank you

First of all, thank you everyone for playing our game! And an even bigger thank you for those who took the extra time to give us feedback. We read it all!

Working on your feedback

We have already started working on improving the dash mechanic. Now you can cancel it at any time, but still receive a bonus to your jump for timing it right.

We've also extended the pogo hitbox, and made some other minor fixes to the scenery.

We'll continue to work on things like the wall jump, camera controls and of course, key mapping.

Demo not starting

The Demo is not starting up for me. Steam says it is running, but I've stared 5 minutes at my screen without the game opening.

Bonus Levels in Final Game?

I just finished the demo and I really enjoyed it. I was wondering if there will be more bonus levels like the ones in the demo in the final game. I really liked how focused and short they were while still providing a good challenge.

Feels bad

- Knockback is oddly gradual. It should be punchy and immediate. - You can't cancel your counterattack with another parry. This feels really bad against charging spear enemies. You can get the hang of it, but it doesn't feel as fun as the obvious alternative. - Having that purple lantern that requires you to pogo off the red one? Annoyed the heck out of me. It's something that's missable but only has 3 coins anyway. I expected it to have something significant since it was, like, a little gameplay challenge...

Options to change controls

It may be rude to assume this won't be in the full release but on keyboard I've always found arrow keys+zx to be very awkward and would like to be able to customise without messing around with files. Games like super meat boy also had this problem and never made amends....
