Update v1.0.0 is here!

Alongside the launch of Into the M.A.W., we've updated the demo build with months of changes, including (off the top of my head):

Smarter AI for automated Gunner and Engineer
New dialogue options and improved branching logic
A new Healbeam ability for the Captain
Faster and smoother ship handling for the Pilot
Tons of balance changes across enemies and weapons
Engineer has more information about incoming damage locations
Improved enemy AI movement/behavior
A seemingly-infinite number of bug fixes and polish passes
And a million other things I've forgotten about along the way

Whether you're trying the demo or playing the full game, we can't wait to hear what you think!

Update v0.7.0

Hey everyone! In preparation for our official game announcement, we've just dropped what might be our biggest demo update yet! There's a lot to go over, so let's jump right in:

Improvements

Engineer Shield UI: Now shows which regions are being hit, and shield placement has been simplified to align with regions instead of directions. Cherry on top is it looks a lot better, too!
Pilot Rework: Improved feel, speed, and camera for a more enjoyable Pilot experience.
New Rail Gun: Replaced the Cannon with a Railgun, featuring all-new animations, mechanics, and sound effects.
Weapon Visuals & Sounds: Updated visuals and sounds on all of the Gunner's weapons.
Combat Improvements: Increased damage on all weapons, making combat feel more impactful.
Engineer Overclock: Now boosts all modules' power by 20%, instead of doubling the power of one module.
AI Enhancements: Greatly improved AI for the Gunner and Engineer when playing with fewer than 4 players.
UI Scaling: Engineer's UI scaling now works better across different monitor sizes.
Dialogue Timer: Reduced dialogue timer for snappier conversations.
Radar Improvements: Reduced clutter on the radar in all levels.
Collision SFX: Added sound effects for collisions.
Opening Sequence: Added car wash animations to the opening sequence in The Fool.
UI Enhancements: Improved tooltips and various minor UI elements for clarity.
Captain's Transmission: The Captain now defaults to the transmission tab.
Training Overhaul: Updated and shortened basic training for a smoother onboarding experience.
Dialogue Updates: Various dialogue tweaks for a better flow.

Bug Fixes

Missiles: More consistent missile behavior in space and on the missile tracker.
Role Selection: Host can no longer start the game unless all players have selected a role.
Focus Fire: Regions are now easier to select.
Color Markers: Markers are correctly removed when no longer needed.
The High Priestess: Fixed lighting in some areas of the comet.
Music Volume: Music volume is now preserved between runs.
Mara in The Fool: Fixed issue where Mara wasn't on fire for clients in The Fool.
Miscellaneous: Other small fixes and tweaks we might've forgotten to note.

My Feedback - Tesla enemies / attacks

While playing as engineer there was a new bane to my existence the Tesla enemies mostly because I disagree with some of the design decisions mostly how potent they are so hear me out what if the tesla enemies weapons were variable like it does X tesla damage and turns that specific system they hit down by X which would make it less of a OH ♥♥♥♥ they got the engines we aren't moving anymore i have to fix this NOW into ill readjust the engines in a moment I have to deal with placing the repair drones and ...

Interesting game

Your demo is interesting. We played the first mission and got a bit into the second mission before quitting. Finding the relics was just too slow and tedious. Some feedback: - Combat is very frustrating, especially when the enemy ships keep a close proximity - The ship's movement is very sluggish. Our pilot said it's like like flying a brick - It would be nice to fast-track the dialogue text - Is there a tutorial? Despite two playthroughs, I never saw the option The game is interesting and has potential...

Captain Tutorial - Can't search

I tried doing the Captain tutorial, but the search button is covered by the AI dialogue so I can't progress. Anyone else having this problem? I guess it's my screen resolution.
