Hey everyone!
First off, huge thank you to everyone who signed up for the playtest! I received over 2,500 submissions — that's absolutely incredible! 🙌 I couldn’t approve everyone due to limited space, but I sincerely appreciate every single one of you for your interest and support.

If you already have access to the playtest, don’t worry — you’ll continue to have access until 05th of May 2025! Make sure to dive in and enjoy it while you can.

🚀 Demo Update and What's Next

Over the weekend, the demo saw a huge influx of new players — thank you all so much for checking it out! ❤️ It’s been amazing to see so many people jumping in and sharing their thoughts.

Just a reminder: this demo is an early, rough version compared to where the full game is now. A lot has been improved, polished, and expanded since the demo’s release!

With the full release coming soon, the demo will remain available until 12th of May 2025 After that, I'll be reorganizing it into a Friend Pass version, allowing you to invite a friend to play together — more info on that coming soon! 🤝

The wait is almost over. 🕰️

After nearly three years of solo development, I’m proud (and slightly terrified) to announce that Astrumis - Survive Together will officially launch on Steam on the 26th of May 2025! 🎮💀

To mark the release date, I’ve put together a brand-new trailer, offering another look at gameplay. It dives deeper into the team-based terror, the growing tension, and the unexpected twist that turns cooperation into something far more unsettling.

Playtests are now live on Steam—just hit the “Request Access” button on the store page to join in. Try the game early with your coop partner and feel free to share your thoughts after playing. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Every bit of feedback helps.

Devlog #3 - "Asteroid Escape" level spotlight

Hey, survivors! 😊

Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on one of the most intense missions in Astrumis: Survive Together—a high-stakes cooperative challenge that will test both players' coordination and reflexes. Get ready for "Asteroid Escape", where one player pilots a spaceship through an asteroid field while the other fights against shifting gravity inside! 🚀 🚀

Mission Overview

In Asteroid Escape, the two players take on distinct but interconnected roles:

Yang is at the helm, piloting the ship through gaps in an oncoming asteroid field. The ship can rotate in multiple directions to fit through tight spaces, but every movement shifts the entire interior, affecting John inside.
John is inside the ship, dealing with the chaos Yang creates. Every time the ship rotates, John's entire world flips—walls become floors, ceilings become walkways, and he must adapt fast to avoid getting stranded.
The ship’s power is unstable, and critical navigation systems will periodically lose power. That’s where John comes in—he must navigate the ever-changing environment to manually reconnect batteries so Yang can keep flying safely.

Navigation Systems That Can Fail:

Horizontal Control (Yaw): Rotating left or right.
Vertical Control (Pitch): Tilting the ship up or down.
Roll Control: Flipping the ship entirely.
Cannons: Limited firepower for clearing asteroids.

If a system fails at the wrong time, Yang might be flying blind, and John must hurry to fix it—while walking on walls and ceilings!

Imagine releasing a demo to promote your game and the online multiplayer doesn't even work.

Like, it literally tries to connect and then kicks back to menu.....EVERY SINGLE TIME. One dev to another......actually test the product first in multiple scenarios before release.

Hey there, Just an FYI in case you didn't know. I streamed this tonight and my stream immediately got a copyright strike over the music towards the end and in the end credits. Not sure if you have the rights to the music or not, but most devs either discuss this with the musicians so this doesn't happen, or if that's not possible, they have a streamer friendly setting so people can stream it without fear. Also, while I understand claiming ownership of the music track the owner actually claimed more ...

Interesting Demo

Just finished a playthrough, hope there's a bit more dynamic interaction involved from the camera operator side. Once the monster pattern is established it can kind of become tedious just waiting for expected pathing to complete. Maybe there will be more triggers or events to affect the monster behavior later. Appears when making an error during one of the puzzle sections didn't really trigger the monster to immediately path towards the source ( was the expectation anyway ) it just continued it's expected...
