How to use tunnel to get to the next level?

I moved my base next to the tunnel and I couldn't click on anything anymore except the advance day button. I think it's glitched.

Basically you do all your objectives, aim against the nearest tunnel, when you are told to pack up, demolish all buildings between you and the tunnel and HAUL ASS

Yeah had the same problem hence the post. Maybe it is scripted that you must do all objectives as GIGACHAD suggested.

If you become late, another tunnel you aren't heading to spawns a monster to follow you, so I guess it's a race against time.

I just got stuck the same way. Looks like a solid game but the UI/controls have some issues, and getting trapped by your own buildings is extremely silly.

Had the same issue. I didn´t finish the side quest (petroleum place 1/2), but managed to get to the tunnel, but it just didn´t click.

You have to fully extract both the Petroleum before you can exit the level. And at least for me, the 2 Petroleum pools were on opposite sides of the map. Once you have extracted both pools fully, the vines covering the tunnel to the next layer go away, allowing you to exit the level and end the demo.

I have a bug where the objective is stuck on "extract oil 1/2" even though the well is empty long ago so I cannot advance

I got there but as soon as I started moving, the fuel consumption was something crazy like -120 day. It seems it was considering all building as active, even though obviously they were all off. Devs, possibly a bug?
