Update to Demo 5/26/2025 - Fixes

Greetings adventurers,

We've been working hard on polishing the experience — here are the latest changes and additions:

- Added health system with wrist module display.
- Added autosave and load functionality via the menu.
- Added new ability and weapon form selection menus.
- Introduced a new puzzle in the first room.
- Implemented weak points for sword-wielding enemies.
- Added crystals that block certain objects.
- Added an audio archive with extra lore recordings.
- Remote grab now works on climbing platforms.
- Improved remote grab mechanics.
- Adjusted shield activation behavior.
- Updated interactions with Karus.
- Reworked quest sequence inside the temple.
- Tweaked final boss stage.
- Changed flying AI behavior.
- Autopilot now activates during planetary departure.
- Updated visuals for the sandstorm.
- Balanced the number of enemies in the temple.
- Enhanced visual feedback for sound puzzle and ship lock during the boss fight.
- Simplified climbing with an improved climbing assistant.
- Refined tutorial prompts for better clarity.

hmmm about demo

that was the most jankest jumping puzzle i have done i quit, just about got through the first one if u had to grab to climb on top of the rocks, it would either shoot u in the air or throw you to oblivion, and also whats with the second jumping puzzle room u cant even run to make the first jump lol if there was a run button probably would of made it. And also btw did u actually test the demo before realising it?!? i managed to figure out how to sit in the cockpit the right place duno why it dont snap u to...

Lore prologue about "Whispers Of The Void" Universe

Long ago, before life existed on Earth, the Galactic Confederation united four powerful civilizations: Kartam, Varn, Sarus, and Kiri. They maintained peace with immense armies aboard colossal motherships, all powered by a precious resource—Edem.

But over time, the Kartam vanished, merging into a "one mind" and leaving the galaxy. Without them, the remaining three civilizations waged war, culminating in a massive battle in the Yarus system, on the planet Cirus, each vying for control of Edem.

In the heat of battle, an unexpected catastrophe struck—Cirus collapsed under its own mass, consuming the entire system and most of the fleets. The survivors limped back to their systems, too weakened to continue the conflict.

With Edem now scarce and scattered across asteroid fields, the shattered factions formed a new Confederation. To preserve the balance, strict laws were established, restricting the use of Edem to small merchant ships and light vessels. Thus, the new Confederation endures, bound by these fragile rules.

Greeting adventurers,

We made some changes and fixes, here is the list of the most valued:

- Added haptic response on weapon interaction.
- Changed tutorial a bit, to make it easier to understand.
- Changed AI behavior.
- Rework some collisions.
- Fixed spaceship realistic movement.
- Simplified the climbing way. We would also like to encourage you to use teleport mode for climbing if you are still struggling with assist mode.
- Other small fixes.

So, some feedback on the demo

Laser pointer is weird because it is "above" what I am trying to aim at. The lack of cursor on the menu makes navigating the main menu a pain. Intriguing premise, player character is stupid enough to do a job "no questions asked". Is this a seated experience? Why lock this to the chair? Just to see the low-compute animation? There is nothing to look at except that that. Player gaze would be naturally drawn to the cockpit window anyway. Explored the spaceship and found nothing of ...

Couldn't get past the very first puzzle

The rune door at the very beginning has no clues, no indicators, no direction, no *consistency* for how to complete it. Sticking my hand in the door and twisting my wrist appears to garner a completely different result each time: the concentric rings of runes turn in random directions, never seem to line up, and it seems there's no method for me to help them with that. Looked around the room for a guide, or notes, or ANYTHING that would help with how to open the door, but there's nothing. Beat my head agai...

G2 issue

I'm trying the demo with a reverb g2 and the "laser pointers" during any menu are misaligned. I have to point to somthing else to click on what I want to really click on.
