FFXIII-2 Manual save not working

I'm trying to save my game manually you should be able to manually save anywhere anytime Ive uninstall and reinstalled I turned of cloud data still can't manually save. The game randomly crashes after some point of playing it feels as though I'm the only one with this issue

Manual saves are a bit weird; IIRC, it always saves into the same save slot -- you have to be in the Historia Crux to select a different save slot, which will then be the current one for manual saves.
