Go to augusta tower 400 or 200 and fight flanitor until you catch it.
level him up and you have one badass healer!

there are probably better end-game monsters that can heal but flanitor will help you through at least 80% of the game.

Being a cat lover this blasted game got me attached to Cait sith. I love the little mew sound it makes.

Problem with flanitor is its materials. So damn expensive to upgrade, by the time his stats start to grow somewhat decently, he'll have eaten every lv4 material you have. As a result of this, if you aren't willing to grind endlessly, you'll have a party of 3k HP characters while Flanitor is sitting on 1.2k, awful stats and an awesome Feral Link.

Anyway, getting it to lv34 so it learns Esunaga it's so worth. Get to Academia 4xx, get your Green Chocobo, infuse lv34 Flanitor into it, and BAM. Arguably one of the best medics you can get.

You don't ever really need a MED monster though until post-story fights. I preferred just having an OP COM and powering through all the battles, chugging potions if needed.

that's true but flanitors feral ability can heal you for an amazing amount though and it reapidly fills up due to it's cheer ability :)
