Sound problem.

WTF is this annoying sound "(weeeeeeeeeee)" OMGGGG. its the game ok for u guys?

Kraken 7.1 fix by Abercius/NC espio0

just tried running the game as administrator and putting compatability mode under windows vista and now it actually works without buzzing on my Razer Kraken 7.1

Same problem, on my 7.1 creative speakers, and also on my logitech G35 headphones.

EDIT: Fixed my issue, removed the G35 (usb) and updated my realtek HD audio drivers from the MSI website to version 6.0.1.7293. Now working in 7.1 mode with no weeeeee noise.

I don't seem to have a great sound problem in the first place but, CG cutscenes are louder then in game.
Whenever I'm playing normal volume in GC, in game cutscenes will be so low that I have to turn up my own volume, and go deaf when a CG cutscene kicks in again >.<
anyone who are complaining about sound have the same problem as me or just that buzzing noice that I had during first boot and whent away after second boot?

Change sound format to 24Bits, 96000 Hz fixed everything for me.
The Hz is important, ussualluy 24Bit, 48000 Hz is default setting, wich in this case ♥♥♥♥♥ up the sound...

I only have 16bit 48000 Hz on Logitech g430... but it shouldn't be my problem since the first one worked great.
They messed up something..

Well even after disabling everything except middle speaker. I still get that glorious buzzing sound. This is unacceptable. In 15 years gaming this never happened before.

EDIT: Alright, I uninstalled Realtek Audio Drivers and it still won't work. This is annoying me more than it should.

Yeah, G930 here played with sound settings as much as i could and when i got the noise to go away for alittle the cutscene voices were absent.

I uninstalled the Logitech drivers for my G930, restarted my machine, Windows automatically installed its own drivers, and we're good.

i can confirm that "weeeeeeeeeee" sound. i use my sennheiser game zero headset with 7.1 surround system

I also use a G930 and I have the horrid buzzing sound, too. I can get rid of it by disabling all but the left front and right front sound channels, but then I don't get any voice acting. No, I'm not willing to screw around with drivers to get it to work. I shouldn't have to.

I honestly don't understand how this kind of thing happens. I really don't.
