The only cons I hated is... the slot mechine and the grindish mini games.. Which could take more time to complete then the game its self.. all based on chance. so tape down the accept button and go to sleep type of mini games.. That was a big disappointment.
The dlc was pointless. In the end it doesn't matter if you buy the dlc. Because it doesn't do anything for the game play. The ultros dlc was dispointing. Which was the reason I got FFXIII-2.. I am a huge FF6 fan and I am telling you all right now. All the DLC was a cash grab.
Valfodr and Gilgamesh are supposed to be pretty fun fights from what I heard.
I did the taping the button thing on the slots too!
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Noel's Outfit: N7 Armor
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Outfit: N7 Armor
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Noel's Outfit: Ezio Auditore
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Outfit: Style and Steel
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Weapon: Seraphic Wing
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Weapon: Azrael
Don't want to get this game unless they include all dlc in 1 bundle reasonably priced.
In this case it means you're getting it for free with the game.
Regarding the stuff that isn't included. They simply can't include it because of licensing and contractual stuff.
http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791436692404/announcements/detail/121923494805613601 for the list.
All the coliseum battles and sidestories are included as are some, but not all, of the costumes. SE understandably caught some flak for putting the "true ending" of XIII-2 in a paid DLC in the PS3 / XBox release (see comments on http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Downloadable_Content)
The omitted costumes mostly due to licensing reasons -- the Mass Effect / Assassin's Creed stuff belongs to other publishers, Style & Steel was the work of a 3rd party designer. All the others are included in the Steam version.
Steam version inlucdes *none* of the DLC weapons for either character & I'm not sure why. Azrael was an XBox exclusive but the others were available on both platforms and have no obvious licensing issues -- "Genji" equipment for instance appears in a number of FF games.
There were also 3 accessory sets that were tied to specific promotions & apparently never released outside Japan.
[EDITED: fixed error re: weapons. Also, I started typing this before replies #10-13 were posted]
* The further DLC that was released with the original console versions will not be released with the Windows PC version (either with the original Windows PC version release, or later on as separate update content), due to licensing and contractual restrictions.
