DLC?
Noticed this on the description

"Including a range of the downloadable content from the original console"

Any ideas what DLC is included? Maybe all? Hoping to get a selection of costumes and Arena DLC.
Swimwear Serah gear ftw!

I imagine that all of it is included.

That would be nice. There's an awful lot of DLC for this and I refused to purchase most of it on the console versions.

Hard to say. I'll be disappointed if some or all of it is missing - given that the DLC's already been released and therefore should be included with the game. I wouldn't be surprised if this has been discussed at large by SquEnix themselves. I have faith that they'll do the right thing.

I played it on the 360.. I have to say it was way better then FFXIII.
The only cons I hated is... the slot mechine and the grindish mini games.. Which could take more time to complete then the game its self.. all based on chance. so tape down the accept button and go to sleep type of mini games.. That was a big disappointment.
The dlc was pointless. In the end it doesn't matter if you buy the dlc. Because it doesn't do anything for the game play. The ultros dlc was dispointing. Which was the reason I got FFXIII-2.. I am a huge FF6 fan and I am telling you all right now. All the DLC was a cash grab.

Valfodr and Gilgamesh are supposed to be pretty fun fights from what I heard.

Yeah, there were a couple of ok Arena DLC's but most was just cosmetics. It would've cost a small fortune to get it all.

I did the taping the button thing on the slots too! :claugh:

It better be all included. It would be suicide to not include the game's ending in this, yes it was DLC.

it says 'Including a range of the downloadable content' so... probably not all the DLC. which is really disappointing. Looked at the psn store and it has a DLC bundle but doesnt include 6 pieces

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Noel's Outfit: N7 Armor
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Outfit: N7 Armor
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Noel's Outfit: Ezio Auditore
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Outfit: Style and Steel
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Weapon: Seraphic Wing
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Serah's Weapon: Azrael

Don't want to get this game unless they include all dlc in 1 bundle reasonably priced.

I'm quite new to Steam platform and a bit confused with the term "Included". Does it mean we are given the DLC for free or it simply means all DLC "are available for purchase"?

In this case it means you're getting it for free with the game.

Regarding the stuff that isn't included. They simply can't include it because of licensing and contractual stuff.

We are getting all available DLC included apart from specific copyrighted Costumes and some weapons. All main DLC like colliseum opponents and Lightnings chapter are all included.

Thanks for the replies. That makes the purchase worth even more! :D

I agree, the DLC alone cost me more than this on PS3 heh.

"Included" means you get it as part of the base game without having to pay any extra or download it separately.

http://steamcommunity.com/gid/103582791436692404/announcements/detail/121923494805613601 for the list.

All the coliseum battles and sidestories are included as are some, but not all, of the costumes. SE understandably caught some flak for putting the "true ending" of XIII-2 in a paid DLC in the PS3 / XBox release (see comments on http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Downloadable_Content)

The omitted costumes mostly due to licensing reasons -- the Mass Effect / Assassin's Creed stuff belongs to other publishers, Style & Steel was the work of a 3rd party designer. All the others are included in the Steam version.

Steam version inlucdes *none* of the DLC weapons for either character & I'm not sure why. Azrael was an XBox exclusive but the others were available on both platforms and have no obvious licensing issues -- "Genji" equipment for instance appears in a number of FF games.

There were also 3 accessory sets that were tied to specific promotions & apparently never released outside Japan.

[EDITED: fixed error re: weapons. Also, I started typing this before replies #10-13 were posted]

You should have read the announcement at the store page :

* The further DLC that was released with the original console versions will not be released with the Windows PC version (either with the original Windows PC version release, or later on as separate update content), due to licensing and contractual restrictions.
