Let's see, i'll tryto give you some general pointers, since i'm no master at infusion and i'm still trying to work out the builds for DLC beasts), the advice comes from my experience with normal monsters... (Note: some levels may be a bit off, i'm not

RAV Lightning:

-Build:

Potent/Mana Crystals. Using only Mana will cost you some HP and STR, but she's a RAV, i don't see the point of STR or a bit more HP if you're only going to use her to build up the Chain Gauge and later switch to COM Lightning (Or another COM Beast) to do pure damage.

-Infusion:

First thing first, what i consider the "basic abilities" and i would probably use on my RAV Lightning:

-HP+30%: Forked Cat lv... 54, (Oerba 300 AF)
-Magic +35%: Tonberry lv 22, (Rift in Bresha Ruins 300 AF)
-Resilience +40%: Necrosis lv. 70 (Yaschas Massif 01x AF). As an alternative, you could also go with Rapid Recovery, using a Microchu lv. 24 (Achylte Steppe ??? AF, Swamp area). I prefer the first.
-Resist Physical + 36%: Green Chocobo lv. 48, (Yaschas Massif 110 AF). I heard it can also be found in 100 AF, but i'm not 100% sure, since i never found it in that timeline.
-Resist Magical + 36%: MewMao lv. 23 (Archylte Steppe ??? AF).

Use the ones that you see fit.

Extra tidbits:

-Role Resonance: If you plan on using Tri-Disaster, Role Resonance offers a Damage Boost (20%, if i remember right). Frag Leech lv 30, (Oerba 200 AF)
-Pack Mentality: If you're using Monster with the same Crystarium in the Paradigm Pack, they gain a 30% Damage Boost. Chichu/Nanochu lv. 1. Never used Pack Mentality since for now i still have to unlock Lv. 70 Valfodr (you can farm both of them from him as drops), so i don't know if it stacks with Role Resonance.

Now, some advice for COM Lightning:

Basic Abilities (almost the same):

-HP+30%: Forked Cat lv... 54, (Oerba 300 AF)
-Magic +35%: Tonberry lv 22, (Rift in Bresha Ruins 300 AF)
-Resilience +40%: Necrosis lv. 70 (Yaschas Massif 01x AF).
AF).

Extra tidbits:

-Feral Speed II: Feral Gauge fills faster (40%). Given that COM Lightning has a very good Feral Link, i'd suggest this ability to use it more often, possibily near the end of every Stagger if you have already used Mereor Javelin. Source: Gancanagh/Gancanagh Ace lv. 1 (Archylte Steppe ??? AF).
-Attack: ATB Charge II: Self explanatory. The faster the ATB recharges, the more you attack. Yeoman lv. 1. (Academia 500 AF). Have fun finding him, he's a rare spawn. I only found him twice.
-Stagger Maintenace: Longer Stagger. Lv. 20 Zwerg Metro (Augusta Tower 200 AF)
-Role Resonance: If you plan on using Cerberus, Role Resonance offers a Damage Boost (20%, if i remember right).

Humm, getting a tonberry (strength bonus and ally ko), a forked cat (hp bonus), a fencer/chunerpeton (siphon boost 2), rav monsters to make com lightning learn jeopardize, a frag leech (role resonance and power chain), and maybe a green chocobo for resistance, a yeoman/hedge frog to get a yellow lock on attack atb charge 2.
It's sort of the same with rav lightning, but with 5 other rav to make her learn all kind of stuff (jack of all trades!) and com monsters to learn something i forgot (but same mechanics as rav for jeopardize).
But i guess this faq or Zio will be waay more accurate than me.
(but those monsters are kinda the must for infusion, pretty much)

Using COM on RAV teaches them Vigor, that's the 1% i was talking about. A 1% bonus for every hit. But if you use Role Resonance, you're using a 3 RAV Team, and the Chain Gauge goes up fast enough that a 1% bonus isn't much in my opinion. Better invest in something else.

Hahaha, ah oh fair enough, guess i just did this only for the hell of it, searching for epic monsters and infusion! (still kinda struggling with valfodor lvl70)
