LR they're in the game natively, but still completely optional. Totally up to you.
From what i've read XIII-2 and -3 are a bit shorter.
LR is a time limited adventure, but you can go through it an infinite number of times.
FFXIII is clocked in at 50h 49m (main story only, based on 279 submissions)
FFXIII-2 is clocked in at 28h 4m (Main story only, based on 115 submissions)
FFXIII LR is clocked in at 35h 10m (Main story only, based on 20 submissions)
That should give you a rough outline for each game.
awesome site, thanks!
Now I find out XIII-2 will be released in less than a month, I intend on finishing up XIII within the next 2-3 weeks and spend a week preparing my body for XIII-2.
After I finish the main story of XIII, i intend on continuing my game play by collection achievements and upgrading weapons and accessories to their maximum potential.
guess I'm too slow. 73 hours in and I'm still in the gran pulse (chapter 11)
FFXIII-2, a bit less. 10 hours less I would say. So like 40 hours with little content done and about 70 hours with it all done.
LR:FFXIII is pretty much the same as XIII-2 I would say..
oh believe me, as you see on my games list I don't own one rpg on steam yet. I'm all about cheap, fast, games. but I'm used to mmo's outside of steam and I played a few other FFs back in the day so.... I'm probably going to get these 3 on sale and just... dag... 150 hours... hopefully nothing else good comes out in the next 12 months :p
