Any way to turn music off?

I mean really,we switched from uber orchestral music to jpop.i had like 2 hours of the same damn song at the begin of the game while i was exploring and grinding... it's not even an atmosphere kind of music.. so please,any way to turn it off without disabling battle sound and dialog? é.è

this may sound bad but i've been playing the game muted here recently but I mean I'll be watching movies also and streams on twitch while playing XIII-2.

The bad thing is not adding a sound option. How clueless must you be to not add that in a game's options? It's just rediculous, really, it is.

I love all of XIII-2's Soundtrack. Apart from 'Full Speed Ahead'. Which I reckon is probably the track you're talking about.

@sammy i'm not criticizing the songs themself,but more the choice of that kind of song for a videogame. since it's a jrpg,wich requires lot of grinding by definition,you'll hear that precise song for hours,non stop.While a background music without wors blends better with the game,having voices works like a "checkpoint" for your ears.. it goes "oh yeah,this verse.." "..this again.." "jesus it's the 32 time that i hear this freaking part"

I personally don't mind the music much, but I hate how loud it is compared to the rest of the game sounds. It's weird that they could ♥♥♥♥ it up when the audio level in FF13 was for the most part fine.

yeah that too,i was wondering if it was just a sound issue since i read everywhere about the 5.1 mess.. i had to switch to 2 channel stereo because the voices were audible but low and lacked of depth,and while in 2 channel is better,music still kind of cover the speech more than blending with the situation.

Anyway,probably i'm just too used to ff 7 till 10,so this kind of jpop modern music in a futuristic fantasy just rub me the wrong way
