Game stuck loading The Void Beyond first gate
Hello, I have been playing this game, I've just beaten Yaschaf Massif 1X AF and I'm going to The Void Beyond (I think that's the name?).

In the corrupted Historia Crux I select the gate and the game is simply stuck in the loading screen forever. I've kept it running for up to 1 hour and it still won't load. I can't go into any other area because the Historia Crux is locked, it's either the Casino (locked) or The Void Beyond. Casino loads fine but there's nothing for me to do yet and the other location doesn't load.

What I have done to try and fix this issue:
- Enabled/Disabled steam cloud
- Verified integrity of game cache
- Deleted and reinstalled the game with backed up save data
- Switched from fullscreen/windowed mode with different resolutions and different shadow maps
- Updated my drivers

What can I do? I want to finish playing this game and restarting is not an option unfortunately.

I have random freezes and it's very annoying. I used the rain fix patch and I don't know if that has anything to do with my problem.

Really?

Hm.

Try without the patch then, see if you still get freezes.

By the way is it CTD or full system freeze?

Sorry guys I didn't reply earlier, just noticed the resurrected thread :)

The problem I had was that I had disabled the steam cloud saves earlier in the game (due to another crash) so what I did was trying to re-enable it, however by re-enabling it it used a different save location so what I had to do was look for my "local" save files and move them over to the steam cloud location (I forgot exactly where but googling might help) and then enable steam cloud.

After it, I think my problem was fixed. Good luck!
