Installing HD mod

When installing the FF XIII-2 HD MOD, at the start in the black terminal i am asked to select either Automatically or Manually.
What sholud i do? Should i select the game directory?
The guide just says to follow the instructions.

If you type the M, you should have a window open directing you to manually direct the bat file to the exe of the games launcher then confirm that its the right file and then sit back once you okay its process. get a snack as its unpacking a ton of graphic and textures and then updating them while verifying that they are done right.
