This link that I'm posting here is basically a cheat (or hack if others prefer to use this term) for (what I found) both Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy 13-2. In this cheat (or hack), you're capable of getting Max CP, Max Money, and even get an unlimited amount of items when inputed correctly. The reason why I'm posting this, and even done this is because i've been playing the 3 games in this series since they came out on console. And i have repeated the game on MANY save files. So I don't feel the need to start brand new all over again when the idea of the "fun of a new game" has died for me regarding these games. But these games have always held a special place in my heart for my own reasons. So for those might feel the need to bash me because I'm "taking away from the game," I'm not.

The video is taking place regarding Final Fantasy 13, but the same walkthrough of the cheat, still applies for Final Fantasy 13-2. It might be a bit confusing, so for those that decide they wish to try this, let me know if you have any questions.

OH! And btw, i've had no issues regarding my performance or issues to my PC when using this. But I can't promise that others won't have any issues either. Just keep this in the back of your mind if you wish to do this. But everything worked out flawlessly for me.

Something I was having a blast with, is the difference between FF13 and FF13-2 and it's Crystarium, is in FF13 you're limited on how fast you can max everything out. But on FF13-2, you can max out your Crystarium before you even leave New Bodhum. Just throwing that out there. Made a lot of fights SOOOO much easier.

This should help a lot of players who just wanna enjoy the storyline. Thanks for posting it, I wish it was easier to mod 13-2 tho everytime I try I end up ruining my game and having to reinstall.

Oh and as for cheating, I think its a persons right to do whatever they want in a single player game, only time when cheating and hacks ruin a game imo is when its ranked or online and ruining legit gamers achievements. Other than that I love mods and hacks and anything that brings out more fun in your game.

I might even use this to replay 13-2 for story since you roll back the clock it doesn't replay everything.

@AngryGamer if you need help with modding FF 13-2 in the way of cheat, let me know. it's been a couple week since I last played either game, but I still remember how to do it. In the beginning, it is kind of confusing, but I'm more than happy to help out if you need to.

Ah, yes. Cheat Engine. I remember using it back on 2k13 when I was in college. Great program although I haven't really used it since. I MIGHT use it on FF13 after I beat it again but only because I've beaten it on PS3 already (as well as 13-2).

I think it looks fun for a lot of people, and I think its a good idea.
Doesn't matter if people think its cheating its a single player game its anyone who owns the games right to play it however they want.
Its not hurting leaderboards or online.

That said I wouldn't really use it myself since I got a 600 hour account and I usually play RPGs legit cause that's what I like about them is building up powerful characters. But since 13-2 locked out a lot of good story scenes (like the arch steppe dragon) and you can't replay them, I could see using this just to plow through the game again.

Well i think anyone who hasn't played the game shouldn't use this. To enjoy the story mode and really experience the game, and the difficulty that this brings. But anyone who has played the game, knows what to expect, should do this. I did this and got maxed level weapons as soon as the games storyline was finished. Something that would have taken me months to do because of how easily I get bored grinding for things in such a way. But anyone with limited knowledge about these games, should not be allowed too (of course no one can prevent them from doing this hahahaha). But yeah. This makes it fun in a different ways that pro players of these games can enjoy.

Yea and I rather enjoy 13-2's endgame, lotta stuff left to do and there's some great mods PS3/360 never had. Don't really understand all these negative reviews, best game on steam I've played.

Works just fine for me, after the 4gb patch its never froze once on me.
Has content and mods the consoles could never have, deserves better than this, but ya know, review bombing, from trolls.

No it's not, lol. Stop sugarcoating it.
The fact that it needs 4 gb fan made patch alone is enough proof of terrible port.

Regardless of whether it works fine for you or not, it IS a terrible port and is plagued with multiple issues. I saw somewhere that the reason both 13 and 13-2 had so many issues is because it runs on the Crystal Engine which isn't optimized for running higher than 720p and it's not something Square could easily fix. But again, that's just what I read somewhere. 13-2 as a port is in even worse condition than 13. It doesn't crash for me at the moment or freeze, but the frame rate is absolutely not stable. Even if I play it at a lower resolution. 13 at least has a stable frame rate for me.
