UP Arrow Key stuck upon game bootup
I start FFXIII and the 'NEW GAME and SETTINGS' options continuously scroll through upwards. Managed to get to difficulty option, same issue. Game is unable to start beyond that as I can't pick to confirm a difficulty. This has only ever happened to me in FFXIII, even tried it with FFXIII-2 and the up arrow does not get stuck.

Using a Microsoft Sidewinder keyboard.

Anybody have any ideas as to what I can do to fix the situation?

Nope, uninstalled and reinstalled the keyboard software and still nothing.

unplug your keyboard if you are using one and plug it in another port which works for me. hope it works for you

Plugging my keyboard into a different port didn't help. Going to Device Manager > Human Interface Devices and disabling all HID-compliant game controllers did the trick for me though.
