Main menu and starting problem
Hi,
I have the problem, that the cursor is always scrolling up in the main menu or option (like i pressed up or w), i tried several games but it's only in FFXIII (even in FFXIII-2 isn't the problem), also if i want to start a new game and the pop-up with the difficulty appears, i can't use any key except esc to close the game.
Would be nice if somebody know something about it.

I'm having the same issue. A few weeks ago, no problem. Today I sat down to play and I had this issue. Tried using different controllers and/or keyboard but any combination of input devices seem to have the same result. I'll keep messing with it and report back if I figure anything out.

Edit: restarting the PC seemed to do the trick. No idea what caused it though.

It's has sth. to do with Human Interface Devices. I turned some of them off and the bug was gone. Maybe you did that aswell. Sometimes you have to restart your PC in order to deactivate them fully.

Maybe you need a specific combination of your HID's on and off or do you have sth. like a controller for x-box, playstation or wii? If so, you have to deinstall them in some cases. That's all i know ;)

I ran into this issue as well. I used a DS4 with DS4Windows, Wii Remote with a Dolphinbar and a Xbox 360 with wireless adapter. I think I just give up on this game. I beat it on console a long time ago but I was excited to pick it up and play it again with better frame rate.

As I said, the only thing i know is that you have to uninstall the driver for those controller and then restart your computer or you turn them off in your device manager (and restart PC) and in most cases you can play normally after. If you don't switch your drivers on, but it can be that you'll have the same issue in other games then, so if u want to play these games you have to activate and restart again. (I seriously don't know why it's like that, but it's really annoying.)
