New Xbox Controller (Carbon Black) issues, help!

I've been playing with a wired Xbox 360 controller just fine, and today I bough the new Xbox Controller (Carbon Black) - bluetooth.

For some reason, with or without a config set up in Steam for this game, the buttons are mapped wrong. The right analog does nothing. The left and right triggers seem to control the camera - start and select don't do anything and instead are mapped to the analogs. I have no idea how to fix this?

When I calibrate the controller in Steam it correctly recognises the analog sticks, so it's not a problem with steam mapping the controller wrong or with the controller itself. Any ideas?

My XBOX Series X/S controller doesn't work at all, if you resolved the problem please help me.

Hello. So I had to plug in the controller first, start the game, then turn on bluetooth and take out the wire. For some reason the game needs to register the controller first (wired) to work.
