Lightning vs Vanille Eidolon
Here is a video of mine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6RIGAq15WM you can vote it on videos tab of FF13 :D

Im doing +160k damage there, and with Lightning i've only done like 5k maybe 10k at most with the last hit from Eloidon.

Why is that? Vanille Eidolon too OP?

I think it was meant that way for her. I use Vanille mostly for healing. I think it also depends how you set it up .

EDIT
How you set up each character stats that is.

Sorry I couldn't answer your question. I'm sure you'll get the best answer from the FF specialist soon enough. I'm still on my first play through on chapter 11.

I have no exact numbers on lightning damage but in dreams I can reach 160k with Lightning "Ultimate"

Odin's Zantetsuken has some unusual mechanics that make its damage potential both higher and lower than the other Eidolon finishers. If the enemy's remaining HP are less than 3 * Odin's Strength * (Chain bonus squared), then Zantetsuken scores an instant kill. Otherwise, it deals 3 * Odin's Strength * Chain bonus damage. Thus, the key to maximizing Zantetsuken is to maximize the chain gauge and to weaken the enemy enough to get it into kill range. If you don't score the instant kill, the damage is unimpressive.
