Any tips how to beat tower boss
I'm playing with easy mode and he still owns me. Its kinda annoying since he has like 10 billion hitpoints and takes me like 1 hour to fight and when he has 20% hp left I die. Happend like 3 times now and I got tired of trying again.

Dahaka you mean? Taejin's Tower boss. The fight can't even last for 1 hour because he will cast Doom on you after 20 min  What tower are you talking about?

Yeah that boss, well not maybe literally hour but it took long enough to be really annoying to start all over again.

I just spent some hours for grinding to make hp bigger (to survive Aeroga with every characters etc) and after that Com/Rav/Rav (Fang, Hope, Lighting), I gave Fang doctor code so she was able to do nice healing. Concentrate on stagering (you don't have time to play defensive) and make sure your hp is above his power of Aeroga. Played on normal mode.

I had com/sent/rav doesn't the sent help tanking ? Maybe I should go com/rav/rav as well since he does aoe anyway.

At that point in the game, I recommend having Sazh instead of Hope in the party for haste. Spend the first few rounds with Sazh in the syn role to buff up everyone. Then, go all out offense (rav heavy) to get the enemy to stagger, switch to com heavy mix to finish up.

Sentinel doesn't really help in this fight because the biggest threat from the boss tends to be AOE spells.

This ^^
I also recommend a Sab, Fang perhaps, to imperil and dispel the boss.
Despite all the critic, FFXIII is the MOST balanced FF in term of battle. Buff and Debuff are very important in this version, while in others, you can beat 99% bosses, or even play through the whole game, easily without debuff and buff.
(But I don't use Sazh much. Vanille, Fan and Lightning rock)

If you think this boss was hard wait till you unlock mission boss after Dahaka this one is even worse I still donno how I managed to beat him so early with 5 stars too rofl.

Ok, I got him down now. I used com/sent/rav. I tried w com/rav/rav but he it was just hopeles without sent taking most of the hits, so I found it easier with sent. Had to up bit my resistances and boost bit more hp, that fireblast hit over 2k and I had 2,5k hp first, after bit more fire res and 3k hp it was ok.

Concetrate on damage, you don't have time for sentinel tanking, if you have problems with hp then better would be com/med/rav, and after you stabilize stagering change for rav/med/rav, when he is stagered, com/com/rav or com/com/com (depends on team). And make sure you can survive Aeroga. And of course pick buffs before the battle if you didn't.

I don't have any buff items I could use before battle and I haven't figured out yet how to add synergist in my current team I use. :( I'm using Ligh/Fang/vanil atm...

For fighting this boss, you ideally want access to Imperil, Haste, Faith, and at least one En-spell, and possibly Bravery and Deprotect as well. In a normal playthrough, that means Sazh and Vanille. All four choices for a third party member work out quite well.

If you're married to using Light/Fang/Vanille, your best bet for a secondary Synergist is Light. Her first few stages give her Bravery, Faith, Enthunder, and Enfire, which is a nice set of offensive buffs to complement the debuffs from Fang and Vanille.

Light can have SYN role as early as chapter 10 if you spend the CP on it, and her SYN is one of the cheaper roles to develop into usefulness (cheapest is Hope's Ruin, followed by Fang's Fire and Thunder, then Vanille's Ruin). I wouldn't normally recommend developing it until somewhere in chapters 12-13, but that changes when someone is determined to avoid using Sazh and Hope.

It's a lot easier to use accessories to shore up HP/defenses than it is to use accessories to try to duplicate the offensive power of Bravery/Faith + Enspell (+ weakness).

edit: that said, I do agree that Light should target all of her cheaper +HP nodes from her primaries (especially MED) when pursuing any early secondary role development.

More important than buffs is hp (in this fight), stagering itself will be enough. I had +4000 hp, combined with potions and doctor code I didn't need medic at all, full time com/rav/rav (with breaks for haste buff)
Nah. 2000 HP is more than enough. 4000 is massive overkill:

I thought about using synergy on light but it cost too much of CP so I didn't bother to grind it up just yet at least. I got her bravery but with only that it feels more like waste to start casting just that buff than just spend even that time doing dmg.

Can I get those before battle buff items from shop somehow or where do you get em? I had em but I felt like needing em before as well and they are all gone now. I started playing this game with normal but I'm playing it with easy mode since last eidolon battle.

Bravery boosts STR-based damage by 40%. Taking a round of Lightning's actions to cast that on Fang and maybe Light at the start of every battle will pay itself back the majority of the time.

You'll be able to buy Fortisol, Aegisol, and Deceptisol once you reach chapter 13. Before then, there are a couple of limited sources of Fortisol and Aegisol, and it's always possible to farm them. Unfortunately, farming them comes with very low drop rates, although I understand that using Easy mode and the Survivalist Catalog (obtain from mission 15) gets the drop rate up in the vicinity of 5-10% with 0 star battle ratings (lower ratings increase the chance of getting shroud drops). Each separate encounter will drop a Fortisol, Aegisol, or Deceptisol; this guide lists most encounters and which shroud they drop: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/928790-final-fantasy-xiii/faqs/67989

Limited sources:
Dismantling a maxed Doctor's Code gets you a Fortisol, Aegisol, Ethersol and Elixir. There are only three Doctor's Codes in the game, but dismantling at least two of them is highly recommended.

Dismantling a Survivalist Catalog gets you a Fortisol, Aegisol, and Deceptisol. There's only one Survivalist Catalog in the game, although you can get up to two more by transforming the Champion's Badge and the Gold Watch (both of which are unique items). I'm not sure if these are worth sacrificing.

Ye I got sols now they weren't avaible when I was at this boss.

Now I'm officially screwed tho, I'm at Orphan and I been using sent in my PT but I died vs him on time limit doom and he had like 90% hp left lol. I guess I am forced to change my PT and drop the SENT now :( I guess I try build that Com/rav/rav there is no way to beat him in time without tons more dmg that I have now.
