FPS/Choppy Cutscene Fix

I take no credit for this as I found it the other day somewhere and it massively helped me.

If you plug in a gamepad, and then start the game, the cutscene chopping disappears and the overall FPS in game increases. I have no idea how this fixes it, but it did for me so try it. You don't even need to use the gamepad and I beleve you can unplug it during the game without bringing the lag back.

Its a known fix since the first day.

The reason for this is because the game keeps looking for a controller, and if it can't find one, it keeps looking, causing lag.

Don't worry, I'm sure Square will fix this in two or three years.

Well I feel silly, I didn't get this for PC on day 1, I never knew it was a thing and I didn't come across it until recently. Welp.
