I dunno I just kinda want more character background/development. You know just more characterization in general.
As far as story goes...its good but I prefer 13s. The new characters they introduce though are awesome. Some of the new music can be hit or miss with people but I personally LOVE it but prefer 13s battle theme.
Can't say anything about 13-3 as I got turned off by the demo.
they are progressively getting more and more open.
13 being the least open
13-3 being the most open
Music wise, LR felt like it didn't have that many tracks(although it does), that's because some are taken and re-used from FF13 and FF13-2, especially the battle themes. LR's music had a more darker feel to it, and of course that was intentional and appropriate, whereas the music in FF13-2 was much more cheery and brighter for most parts of the game.
But it has the the Worst Graphics, most glitchy, and no party.
That along with FF12 and the MMO's are the most open ones.
FFXIII-2 is more open, but it's more of a maze going with lots of different routes to different time zones. But still fairly narrow like FFX, and FFXIII-2. And has some pretty neat time mechanics (that they also use to recycle zones, but its still fun imo).
