mainly go with com/rav, dont try do him with 2 rav, becouse its not too great for staggering
if needed switch to com/med, and repeat, got 5 stars in under 3 min ;)
Yeah Rav/Com then the stagger won't drop off him as quick. Though you could rav/rav him for a second and then drop to rav/com to maintain it. And yeah eat stuff. I forget about them. He's hardly the worst boss in the game. http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Walkthrough:Final_Fantasy_XIII/FlamesofRebirth/Part_8
Otherwise make sure you keep your chain going and keep it stable with a Commando. I switched between Commando/Ravager Ravager/Ravager and Commando/Medic when the situation presented itself. Make sure you are in Commando/Ravager for when the boss becomes staggered because Lightning can knock the boss into the air, rendering his offense completely useless as he will be unable to attack.
