8 gigs of ram
phenom 2 x6 3.2 ghz
geforce 670 gtx
win7 64 bit
I downloaded the game, and was ready to exp. all of the issues described in many threads here, but i didn't exp. them at all. Intro runned smoothly, gameplay (the first tutorial boss and some running around) smoothly too. I must admit, i am very surprised...
it's like Ultima said:
My specs:
Intel i5-4670 3,4 GHZ 6MB Cache
Mobo: Asrock Z87M Extreme4
HyperX DDR3 8GB 1600MHz CL10 FURY Blue Series
GeForce CUDA GT 740 MSI 2GB DDR5
Chieftec GPS-500A8
Win7 x64 Ultimate
I play with K&M (no controller)
Still, I am at the very beginning - hope the experience will not change for worse.
how do you force the game to use 2 cores instead of 4?
I use radeonpro, under tweaks tab. You can also use windows task manager, right click on the game process, and set affinity. But using task manager you need to set it everytime you play.
Thanks, Siro. You're a legend! Forcing it to use one core seems to remove stuttering for me. Frame rate drops are still happening. I will quote your method in a separate post to help those who are still suffering the stuttering. Thanks again.
