but my time sucked : / 15min : /
That sound tight. I tried in one fall, but I was always missing a couple seconds. I'll practice on it later. Have you been doing this, or you were just suggesting?
Also, I really don't like Vanille, that's mainly why I'm not using Death. Plus the fact that the spell is just too OP for my taste. But agreed, that is a more effective farming method. It's not any different than turning the game to easy mode though...
Yeah, I did something like that too on my very first kill, but that's too tedious, and not necessary. Try going more aggressive on it, you'll see, way more fun!
I don't think using Death for damage in this fight is really comparable to Easy mode. To make it effective, you have to do a lot of paradigm shifting with reasonably precise timing. I get what you're saying about not wanting to use it though.
Great. I ended up finding an older save file myself, with all 64 missions, on my backup hard drive, so I used that one :p
I can send you mine if you want. Just ask.
OK sounds exciting, I'll do it in one fall and update the video later ;)
I could save some time with the initial debuffing right after the fall, that should do it.
We'll be talking about a less than 3-min fight, if all goes well. Exciting indeed.
The Paradigm Deck is particularly important here, as you need 2 Cerberus paradigms to allow the optimized damage dealing shifting. And so, had to get rid of the Salvation paradigm (3xMed replaced by Syn-Syn-Med), which made things a bit trickier in phase-1.
Also, Fang's Bravera/Faithra weren't lasting until the end of the fall phase, so had to readjust and refresh them at the very last second before the fall, just before the 2nd leg goes down. All in all, a pretty effective and legit way to farm this Boss.
Hehe yeah, had to get original. It's pretty close to pull 16.2 mil in one fall phase. Though, the last Highwind could have been used 1 turn earlier. I took some unnecessary risk, I guess :)
