Question about Cie'th Stone Missions

After I beat the game, or maybe as some point at the end of the game, can I go back and finish all those missions? Because I just want to finish main storyline without going for this kind of grinding. If yes, is there some fast way to travel from from mission to mission? I'm in chapter 11 now, just climbed some big tower.

Yes you can go back. Once you get to chapter 13, you'll be able to teleport back to Gran Pulse and it can be used even after you complete the main game. As for fast traveling, there are certain stones that can be used for traveling after you complete their respective missions.

You can replay all of the missions and skip most of them, save for the ones in the tower as I'm sure you've noticed. Those 5-6 stones are part of the storyline and mandatory.
