Fang/Vanille/Hope is a good, easy party to use. I'd make a paradigm deck looking like this:
SEN/MED/MED
SAB/SAB/SYN
SAB/SAB/RAV
SAB/RAV/RAV
COM/RAV/RAV (or COM/RAV/COM if Hope knows Ruin)
COM/RAV/MED (or COM/MED/COM if Hope knows Ruin)
Do teach Ruin to Hope if you can since it only costs 6000 CP. Stick with the SAB paradigms as much as possible pre-stagger, and just keep casting SAB debuffs with Fang even if everything is already inflicted--this preserves the chain gauge just as well as COM does, and builds towards stagger faster. Make sure you get Poison inflicted, even if this means keeping Fang and Vanille as SABs a little ways into the first stagger.
When you need healing outside of stagger, try to do it with a shift to SEN/MED/MED for 1 round, and then get back to debuffing/buffing/building chain. The single MED paradigm is for healing during stagger. You also have access to Renew if needed.
Be careful about using Provoke in the later stages of the fight. Being a SEN during Judgment saves you a lot of damage, and you want a double MED paradigm for fast healing, but you don't want to retarget Progenetorial Wrath to yourself if you can avoid it (Veil does offer 50% resistance to instant death and all other statuses, and you can wear a Cherub's Crown for more resistance if you want).
But pray that his Progenitorial Wrath don't hit your leader haha
If you have fast fingers and good eye, when the glow of his stupid death attack is upon your leader, summon your eidolon.
There's also an accessory that protects you 30% of death when maxed out, I think...
