[ASK] Cielt'h Stone Mission 55 - Growth Egg

I have finished this game, I have defeated orphan the final boss.
Now I want to get the growth egg from mission 55. But when I go to the Oerba - Village Proper, the stone hasn't been activated yet and I cant take the mission. I haven't finish all the mission yet. Just reach mission 28 now.
Shall I finish all the previous 54 mission to get it activated ?

well, yeah. as you finish certain amount of missions, next missons unlock

Take a look at some guides, I just got the egg at the end of Chapter 11, I do not think you have to do any missions for it to unlock. I only did up to 14 for chocobos and it was unlocked. Might have to beat the boss at the end of chapter 11 for it to activate.

Thank you sir, I've try it and it works.
Now I can take mission 55.
So the answer is, I have to finish mission 14 first then the stone for mission 55 will be unlocked.

Certain stones only unlock when another stone mission is completed. Also certain game story items must be completed to unlock certain stones. And, in some stones, both a stone or stones and game story items need to be completed to unlock them. So if you have trouble getting a stone to stand up, it may be that you missed a stone or story item along the way. Not sure of the list but there are walkthroughs available that list them. Best might be one that just covers he stone missions.

To be clear, the prerequisites for mission 55 are mission 14 and defeating the end boss of chapter 11.

Ah you finished the game now, yeah you have to do 14 at least to unlock the chocobos in order to enter the area for the 55 beast. On my latest playthrough I did this at the end of chapter 11 and it was not too bad, though it was hard to stay alive to even get death off lol. The first time I did this mission it took me 25~ retrys, on my current playthrough I got death to hit on my 4th try (I died afterwards) and on my 6th which I won!

Woah at least you beat it.
I just retry one time for mission 55 as I have seen the guide for that mission.
On my second try, I just use death once and neochu directly die. So lucky

When I did get him, it was in the third attempt and on the fifth try to cast it......Was so surprised he just disappered, I almost got killed off to, but manged to hang on and get his friends too.
