Game Not Launching

I bought this game yesterday on the Steam Sale hoping to play it but instead this game wont work at all when ever the launcher opens up I click start game but the game never opens up and iv tried everything possible iv reinstalled the game, Iv turned off dep but still this game wont run and I cant refund it due to using a card farming already on the game which made the game over the 2 hour refund limit

I played it several years ago on my old PC and it worked fine. I wanted to play it again on my new computer but this ffxiiiimg.exe don't launch. I tried in windowed mode, fullscreen mode, with the FF13Fix, deactivated DEP or whatever but it still don't work, this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

so what worked for me is adding ffxiiimg (not the launcher) to the exemption list for DEP.

Step-by-step for windows users (im on w11)

1. win+R, then type "sysdm.cpl" without "" then press enter/click ok

2. click advanced

3. click settings under performance

4. go to data execution prevention

(it should be on by default)

5. click add, then find ffxiiimg, select it and click ok/add.

there ya go it should be on the list. Hope this helps!

So it does not work under normal conditions anymore? I added it to DEP and it works under Windows 11, but it's extremely choppy now. Before, it was extremely fluid.

Strange, I got it working yesterday and today it isn't working anymore even though the DEP is still added. I tried to run the game in compatibility modes for Win Vista/7/8 but no good results there.
