Are Adamantortoise gone once Long Guis have spawned?

Returning after 6 years, I managed to 5 stars all missions that was left and kill a Long Gui, but now that I only need Treasure Hunter, I find my farming spot to be replaced with a Long Gui. It doesn't seem like I could find an Adamantortoise at all within the plains. Are they completely gone?

After you spawn Long Gui, you can only fight Adamantortoise by (re)doing mission 63. There is one Adamantoise left on the Steppe, and there's also an Adamantoise in Eden. The Eden Adamantoise is likely your best bet for extended gil farming at this point.

That's unfortunate, but I guess I do kill them a bit faster now, but probably not at the same speed as I used to for Adamantortoises. At least the save point is right next to them. Thanks.
