Audio and Brightness Options?
Hello, Ive been playing Final fantasy 13 on my PS3 a couple of times, but I currently dont have a TV, ironically I got rid of it because I never used it anymore.
However a friend of mine said the game was on steam now and I do still have the PC, it replaced my TV after all, so I did my pre-purchase google searches and didnt really find anything oddly enough.
I have huge problem with voice acted games that dosnt have audio settings, and I also have pretty poor eyesight so I need some brightness options.

My question is, does the game have Audio and Brightness options? Like I said I did the google search and didnt actually find this info, I did find something about an audio patch, but not what it actually included.

I just played Steams Final fantasy 10 and 10-2 and they both had truly great options, 4 audio sliders and a brightness slider, so im guessing 13 has the same, but I thought Id ask before buying just in case.

TLDR; Does the game have good Audio and Brightness options?

13 came out way before X , and was mostly just a simple port , i would suggest , if you have a Nvidia gpu , make a custom setting for 13 , all the settings 13 has are language , resolution , shadows and anti aliasing

otherwhise im sure windows or your monitor has settings somewhere

Thats alright, if its going to be like that I might aswell just plug in the PS3 to the PC monitor instead, it was just to much work really, but if its the easier alternative what the hay.
Thanks for answering though.

Abit odd why no one mad a mod about this though, especially the audio, seems like such an easy thing to actually do.

If you're talking about Audio settings as in separate volume settings for Music, Sounds effects and Voice, that's almost impossible to mod.

The game code is virtually unmodifiable so that's out. Modifying sounds files directly is also out of the question. Music files are easy enough, their file structure is known, all of them are in the same folder and they have a value in their header for Volume. But everything else is almost 8000 files in varying formats (despite the same file extension) spread across 1200 folders. So simply studying them is cumbersome.

Also, as Warfighter pointed out, probably nobody cares enough.

As for the Brightness setting, it's puzzling why they would take out this option from the Settings menu, but maybe there is some GPU options for that ?
