You can look at ProtonDB even today, to see if the games you're interested in have entries there. Just keep in mind that this is user-maintained data, and different proton versions may show different behavior -- and yes, this includes newer proton versions breaking games that used to run on older ones, that's also possible.
Some issues the users describe on ProtonDb is down to their used distro.
Hmmm. I just don't know if FF13Fix works and since the Steam Deck will be AMD Hardware we also need yet another workaround for the issues in FF13. Oh well.
I might just download SteamOS to a stick and boot my PC with that. Bad thing...i only have systems with NVIDIA GPUs.

Finger crossed that this runs. Squeenix forgot about XIII and it seems they never ever want to release it anywhere else again or fix these ports :/
I wanted to know if we can run this with FF13Fix as without that i consider this game unplayable :/
I just don't know how mods are handled using SteamOS and Proton/wine and so on. FF13Fix uses a custom d3d9 dll so i don't know if this will work.
I am at the begining of the game so no save issues at the moment for me.
