And for anyone stuck while testing it, if like me it crashes buts keeps you from focusing on other windows still while its locked up. Try ctrl alt deleting and clicking the task manager option (or hit the windows key on keyboard, then type and open task manager there). Once task manager is open, and last tabbed too, wihle you can't click on it, just tap the down arrow key a few times as it's still active, once it goes down to selecting the final fantasy crashed copy. Hit delete, and that will kill it.
Good tip to know for this and a few other games that have similar issues.
