I really want to see a pulse prequel around the time oerba was inhabited. I know it will never happen but it'd be awesome since I'am a vanille/fang fan. And oerba in FF13-2 is just as haunting, since its even farther in the future its also even more void.
As for the cieth, well judging by all the cieth stones all over the place, pretty sure the falcie have been dooming people to be cieths for a long time. I'm not sure if its as clear as everyone in oerba turned into cieth, since it all happened so long ago. I think most of the people there probably left, or died and got burried by loved ones. The fact there's so many cieth now tho, I think it might be the areas creepy atmosphere, and the fact that, well... Bart wasn't far away when you first get there, perhaps the cieth we're drawn to his power.
What I'd really like to see though, is an outer space look at how big Pulse is. Cacoon Just looks like a floating pebble compared to gran pulse. It's all so awe inspiring. >_>
The void as in all the space stuff before you open it up more?
Kinda makes you tired of hummanity, its like where the ♥♥♥♥ are we going as a species when every single person you meet, doesn't just hate you, but hates everyone else around? And if some guy kills the scum, then he's scum as well, but mother nature...
That's poetic. That's our destiny as a species, the destiny of all species.
Good thing I'm this.
