Not sure, but there are a lot of good places to grind on pulse.

I would heavily recommend you to farm those giant turtles in Eden with Vanille's Death ability. Yes, it's matter of luck, but it will help you out a lot, especially if you're aiming for Treasure Hunter achievement.

You can find on YT how to kill it, it's fairly simple but still, it's a matter of luck.

The mining tunnels, I think its called the mahbara or something, have really easy enemies that are 3-4k cp a piece, its not the best but they are easy.

Trying to grind for Fortisol, Aegisol, and Deceptisol past chapter 2 (Forts and Decepts) or 4 (Aeg) is generally a poor idea. The percentage rates drop off dramatically as you get later in the game. If you've reached chapter 13, then they're available for purchase, and there are plenty of ways to grind gil to buy them if you want them.

If you're desperate for a couple of these shrouds, let me know where you are in the game and I can probably help you obtain a couple. If for some reason you must grind for them directly for whatever reason, let me know where you are and I'll see if I can track down some sources that list which fights drop which shrouds.

Just equip the accessory called "Survivalist Catalog" that increases shroud drops.

Also, consider using the correct terminology. They are called "Shrouds" noob.

Gotcha. In that case you want to farm Fortisols and Deceptisols near the end of chapter 2, when you have Lightning and Sazh in the hallway with five single Ghoul fights. Give Light her Gladius and a Power Wristband (both from treasures earlier in the chapter) and you can 0-star a Ghoul fight in 33 seconds (giving you a 96% chance at a drop). Let Sazh fight the Ghoul until the 32-33 second mark and then have Light finish it off. It's fairly easy to learn the musical cue for when you should execute Light's Attacks.

The first and fourth Ghouls in the hallway drop Fortisol, and the other three drop Deceptisol. Running back to the previous area will respawn four of the five Ghouls--whichever one you fought last won't respawn.

For Aegisol, the best place to farm them in chapter 4 is during the Sazh/Vanille section after Odin. There is a fight with 2x Gremlins that drops a 48% Aegisol with 0-stars. The exact 0-star time will vary depending on your development--giving upgraded +STR equipment to Sazh is a good way to lower the time. Respawn by running back to the save point nearby.

Why anyone would want to farm this crap is beyond me.

I only use them before big boss fights, but you don't need to grind to get enough to help you the couple times it helps.

If you rely on shrouds you are a pathetic player and I pity you. :)

Challenge playthroughs such as NCU or SRO are a common reason. Also, some people just like to have access to lots of power. You could benefit from learning some tolerance for different playstyles and points of view.

Naw, with 200+ hours in this game I don't need any advice.

Thanks though.

Aw, look. Thinking that 200+ hours makes you an expert. How cute.

I believe you're the biggest ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I have ever met on Steam. Talking like you're godlike in this game, insulting people asking for tips or how to improve performance. You didn't even finish every mission or final boss with 5 stars. Where did those hours go? You fell asleep on your keyboard or something? Poser.
