Flooded cave In missing brother quest
I have this weird bug where the ENTIRE cave in the missing brother quest is flooded with water. Is anybody else getting this? How should I handle this?

The entire cave shoulden't be flooded, you have to go though a submerged section, to get to the target, sure enough, but the end and beginning of the area are water free.

Always try ya crossbow, depending on ya level, u can 1 shot most things in water..

BUG: flooded cave in final preparations
I've came across this bug in 2 quests : Final Preparations and Contract: Missing Brother: parts of the cave that clearly schouldn't be flooded are flooded. And it makes main story literally unplayable bc I can't break walls with aard under water! So please, if anyone knows how to solve this problem, let me know!

Gamebreaking for sure. My current playthrough is modded, but I have no idea what mod would cause this. It makes these quests utterly unplayable without cheats.
Guys, seems like I found solution: unsubscribe from every mode, delete game and then reinsall it. at first I tried w/o unsubscribing and that didn't help

For me uninstalling was unnecessary. I managed to fix it by unsubscribing all my mods, and testing them out to see which one reproduced it. It seems to me that the HD Reworked Project is responsible, as every other mod is now active and the bug hasn't reappeared, at least not in Final Preparations.

I'm curious now if HDPR is really all that stable. It's been giving me a couple other problems as well. Which is a shame because it really makes the game look a lot better. Now I wouldn't recommend keeping it off if you're using that mod because it'll wreak havoc on a few textures, so disable it to complete the quests, and then re-enable after they're finished.

EDIT: Just confirmed that Contract: Missing Brother works as well.
