The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Va Fail, Elaine -Decoction of Grasses created but can not continue.
Stuck at creating Decoction of Grasses... I can make the potion but game doesn't recognize that I've completed this quest. After making the portion, the quest is still listed as incomplete. I can not do anything with the potion.

Not playing with any mods, only the DLCs. I've tried mediating before and after creating the potion to see if something "resets".I've restarted at several prior (saved) points in the game. Game is up-to-date, ran file intregrity check. I'm really not looking to restart the whole game. Any help is appreciated.

Okay so you made the potion. Did you get a message onscreen that you had "Successfully created. The Decoctions of the Grasses"? If you didn't, then your game is glitched. It needs that event to be recognized in order to trigger the next task in the quest, giving the potion to Yennefer.

Have you tried to force it by speaking with Yennefer? I'm not sure what else can be done since you've already tried everything I would have suggested.

Sadly, this is why I stopped playing the game. I ran into something similar much earlier in the game and had had enough. I'd jumped through plenty of hoops during my several runs at the game and I experienced fewer issues back in 2015 before patch 1.07 was released than since. I gave up on it over a year ago.

I wish you luck.

Yes, I do get the "Successfully created potion" message. I did try to speak to Yen, and the other 2. No luck! Had high hopes for this game and even waited before buying it :(
I almost lost my hair.
So apparently, you have to collect every single ingredient there is, from that little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ box. It doesn't matter if you already had them in your inventory.
It seems that quest updates only when you collect every item from that box.
Me too! How to fix this?
