Game crashes to desktop on Through time and space quest

During the conversation with Ge'els, when I tell him we should be going or whatever, my game crashes without error. I disabled the mods, verified cache, put everything on low, and I still can't get past the conversation. Am I the only one in this situation? Someone knows a way to fix that problem? I tried to google my problem but I haven't seen any solution.

If you don't (and didn't) use any cheats, mods, console commands etc. then upload your save before the dialogue and post the link. I will have a look at it.

Hey sorry to revive a dead topic but I may have an answer for you or anyone else that comes across this thread. Disable Fake Lights in All Quests [www.nexusmods.com] mod is not installed through a mod manager but manually. Removing it allowed me to continue the game. Miisti over at Nexus Forums figured this out.

Completely quick glanced/misread the title of this necro post thread and thought... dang someone is having a trippy load-up of W3. It's crashing their desktop through time and space :D

I am aware that this thread is old, but I am experiencing the same problem as the OP; the game just crashes to desktop after selecting the final dialogue option with Ge'els, as a part of "Through time and space" quest.

I can confirm that temporarily disabling the "Disable Fake Lights in All Quests" mod (if you have installed it) resolves the problem. Thanks for Incudie to mention it.

remove and re-install them game, i lose the Triss Voice but i re-install it works, or u can check file integrity, but i think reinstall just take you 3 hours at night

I'm having the same problem with it crashing at the same place and I have NO mods and my computer exceeds the specifications easily. I read somewhere about turning video down to low, did that to no effect. Turned off my antivirus program, no effect. Checked and found a missing file, but still no effect. Any ideas?

Hey. Just got this game, finally got a laptop That can run it. I am having the issue of crashing with the portals. Any remedy yet?

I tried all the workarounds for this issue on two different operating systems, but none of them worked. I'm surprised it was never addressed by the developers.
