Strange lines on screen
Hi guys, I have this strange lines on my screen during gameplay, nothing in the main menu though. Is this a sign that my GPU could be at fault here or can i fix this somehow?
I have GTX 670. Tried updating the drivers (clean install), lowering all the graphic setting and still no luck.

the white ones in blocks of 4 short and vertical all over the screen. I have no idea what they are but i can see them on the screen capture.

ah yes, i see them now, try turning vsync on, and turn chromatic aberration and vignette off.
Just tried that with no success. vsync on, aberration and vignete off and they are still visible.

I'm just wondering if it's time to invest some more in my PC or if i could do something about it and play. I'm afraid to see more of them during my gameplay so i stopped at the beginning to ask if anyone have encountered that problem and got it fixed.

do you get them on any of your other games or just W3?
hmmm, i dont know what they're caused by then. I would continue normally through the game and see if they maybe go away after a while.

Recently played through Far Cry Primal with no issues. Maybe i'll try some stress tests tomorrow to check for overheating and stability problems. Doubt that it's overheating cause they are there just as i enter the game. Maybe after first location they'll dissapear, i'll check that too.

Think that it's a problem with shadows, they seem more intense in darker places, on surfaces in with shadows on them. More testing will come tomorrow.

In any case anyone will lookup this post, I didn't solve the problem. None of the things I've tried worked:
- aberration off
- vignete off
- v sync on
- trying to play around with shadow quality (at some point I thought that it's connect to them but i don't think so, many shadows are rendered w/o problems)
- updating GPU drivers
- reinstalling GPU drivers
- reinstalling whole game
- file integrity check

I have no ideas how to fix it and right now i don't have any other GPU to test the game with so i'll be waiting until i get one. I wanted to play Witcher 3 so bad, it's a shame that i have this issue.

Thanks for the help :)
Turn v-sync off in-game but turn it on in Nvidia control panel and set it to adaptive.
