Endless Loading screen with the quest The Great Escape

Whenever I reach the area where margarita and sile is imprisoned, I kill 2-3 of the witch hunters and the load screen appears. I tried re-doing the quest and loading other previous save files but it didnt help. Im stuck, any suggestions? Thank you

Someone recommended turning off Yennifers DLC costume and reloading an earlier save where you are going to meet her. This just worked for me since i had the same problem.

I send an email to CDPR, and they told me to send them my savegame,according to the "tech supp" my savefile was corrupted :s
I had check with another file yesterday,and it is working perfectly now,no endless screen.
Try to borrow a savefile from a friend or forums,and see if is solved or not

k found an solution: i had to delete my inventory with the "cleardevelop" command. It resets ur Character and deletes ur whole inventory. Eitherway u drop the important items ur u cheat them. After the reset it worked.

OK I found a way to fix this but it requires that you have debug concole enabler installed.

Thanks to GoodGuyJefferson for the help.

Once you are up from the sewers. Sneak past the two sleeping witch hunters. go upstairs and turn right and through the door.

Kill the first guard, kill the second and immediately press whatever button you have assigned for console enabler, paste the command "cleardevelop" the cutscene should start. The PC will hang for a short time.

You can add back important items afterwards.


Additional Info:

I'm playing on PC with mods.
I can not disable DLC from the main menu before or after loading a game.
I believe it is a Yen clothing bug that causes the game to hang.

Hi, Im stuck there too. Cleardevelop helps but clears advanced mutations from Blood and Wine. Any other way? I went back to kaer morhen battle, no mods, no dlc suits and still this bug occurs.

I found that certain quests can be set using addfact command, but failed to find how to use it.

You probably used the debug console to give yourself all the items in the game. The solution to this is to the run these commands from the debug console:

removeitem('q310_backdoor_key')
removeitem('q310_cell_key')
removeitem('q310_explorer_note')
removeitem('q310_journal_notes_1')
removeitem('q310_journal_notes_2')
removeitem('q310_lever')
removeitem('q310_sewer_door_key')
removeitem('q310_wine')
removeitem('q310_yen_trinket')

That resolved my issues with the infinite loading screen when meeting margarita. Hopefully this helps anyone else who runs into this issue. Yes, cheating can definitely break your game, but for some of us the game is far more enjoyable with cheats/mods.

walla kanka öncelikle çok teşekkür ederim. benim aklımdaydı. bende tüm itemleri ekle komutu kullandığım için geçmiyordu bu loading ekranından. orda kapı kolu itemi elimizde olduğundan dolayı böyle bir sorun olduğunu biliyorum ama, o itemi nasıl sileceğimi bilmiyordum. senin yazdığın komutlar işe yaradı. çok sağ olasın. işlerin rast gitsin.
