Grainy Textures

Hi y'all I downloaded witcher again after not playing for a while and i guess there was a update while i was away. anyway long story short my game looks terrible rn. every texture is super grainy, its especially bad on grass and geralts facial hair. ive been messing around in the settings trying to fix it and the only thing that kind of helped was disabling sharpening + dynamic resolution scaling but the problem still isn't completely fixed. anyone have any other recommendations for what i can do to fix it?

Update: If anyone has the same issue as me close the game and when you re-launch in the launcher press the settings cog and change it to directx11 instead of 12 my game is pretty again now

Hi, I have the same problem but after the last update and the hotfix there is no more redlauncher so I cant switch to directx11 ... can u still switch d12 to d11 ?

I'm not really sure, bc my game is up to date and i still have the red launcher! Maybe there is a glitch causing the redlauncher not to appear for you? Sorry i couldnt be much help

open file explorer / steam / steam apps /common/ witcher 3 / bin


and now x64 means dx 11 and x64dx12 means dx 12

open what you want and .click .exe it will play with no launcher and no steam open required.
