Music plays way too often

I'm surprised this isn't more complained about but the frequency of music in this game is as bad as the 90s DBZ english dub. You don't get even 10 seconds of silence while exploring. Is this just in Velen? Finding a moment to enjoy the quiet ambiance is a rare treat. So many wildlife sound effects you never hear because sad violins won't stop looping. Sure the music is great but I don't need to hear music 98% of my game time, let the visuals and ambiance help as well.

For anybody with the classic reply "JUST MUTE THE MUSIC", thats not the point dummy. The point is the music is fantastic and helps scenes but HOLY god the frequency is atrociously paced for a AAA quality game like this.

Thank you for the suggestion. Ill give it a shot. I hope more people give the Velen area a test with no music so they can truly understand all the interesting sounds they miss thanks to those non stop violins(or whatever instrument that is).

Lowering the volume might help. That's what I did.
