Can't craft more samum bombs?
I am trying to destroy a monster's nest, and I have no bombs left, but when I go to craft it says you already have this item. Anyone having this problem?

I have the ingredients, no bombs, but it tells me I have them haha.

You only have to craft one time and once you run out, just meditate and your stuff will get restocked. Make sure you have alcohol in your inventory.

It is an HUGE over-sight to not INFORM the players of this. Basically most players I know that are new to Witcher series now drop the old bomb saying 0?2 and make a new one...

AHA had this issue, go to where they are in your inventory, destroy them, the empty 0/2 thing, then remake- annoying but effective

Except for the fact that it is clearly stated in a tutorial tip..

Indeed, I'm one of those types. Didn't know until this post.

Then it's easily missed.

^ I saw a tip like this briefly, but I felt most of this game's mechanics were obvious enough that I never really needed to read the whole tips anyways. By the time I had crafted my first bomb I had been playing a few hours and learned to just tune them out, not on purpose, but I did. There is a menu where you can read the tutorials again, but I couldn't find the one about replenishing bombs anywhere. It was, in fact, pretty annoying. It's really not a hard thing to miss at all

Thanks. The game mechanic is cool but definitely not logical. So the game encourages the player to do as many recipes as possible and have a lot of alcohol to keep stocked.

It took me a while to figure out, but, after you crafted them, you need to have apperantly salt on you (the always base material for a bomb) and then meditate and it magically refills.

Same goes for oils and potions, you need the basic crafting material and then just meditate and it will refill them.

So, for clarification, do you only need the formula ingredients for alchemy when initially creating the recipe, or do you also need them when you replenish during meditation? It seems odd that you could just automatically refill all your alchemy just by drinking booze.

Potions, bombs and oils are one time crafting, you dont need to hold on to the recipe. Then of course there are upgraded versions which heal you more, holds more bombs and adds more damage - But you'll find them soon enough. The point is, when you meditate, your potions, bombs and oils get restocked.
