Contacted CD Projekt Red. They told me mobile GPUs are not officially supported (so I should go F myself I suppose? Dat support).
The weird thing is, the game starts without any issues using my integrated HD4600. Swiching to the 860m, however, causes the screen to go black
yep i just got emailed back from both and the same things. guess we just wait :/
- forced The Witcher to launch with my integrated GPU using the NVidia Control Panel
- launched the game (worked, hallelloo !),
- switched the video preferences to FULLSCREEN in the game options
- left the game & switched back my NVidia preferences so it would launch using the NVIDIA GPU
- launched the game again : WORKS !!!
I had tried everything else (reparing cache files, updating drivers, with or without Geforce, reinstall all Visual Redistributables), nothing worked until that... !!!
