Catching fire == Unavoidable death

Haven't seen anyone else report this so it -might- just be me/few people, but be warned I've caught fire twice so far and the timer stops at 0:00 and I just keep burning alive until I die, so, may wish to avoid anything that might ignite Geralt, especially exploding barrels, lol.

Can verify this happened to me. Accidentally walked too close to a camp fire and slowly burned to death with timer on 0:00.

Isn't happening here, and I have lit myself on fire dozens of times. Does it happen every time?

Twice for me, I've opted to avoid everything flammable and explosive since, lol.

Generally if you get set on fire in real life, you're going to have a bad time.
The same applies here. An NPC even jokes about playing with fire.

In real life however you can stop drop and roll in some dirt or at least use a water source.

I was in a swamp and running into shallow-ish water and still didn't go out :P

Well obviously the solution is to find water you can drown in.
You'll either burn to death or drown, but either way you should totally screenshot burning under water

Speaking of fire, anyone figure out how to use torches yet? I have it equipped in a 'pocket' and it implies it (may) automatically emit light to an extent but I'll be damned if I'm seeing it.

I know this is old as ♥♥♥♥ but this happened to me also but randomly I was just walking out in the wild just killed 2 bandits and randomly got fire on me and it didn't stop the timer stopped at 0:00

Just a tip, using Quen to get rid of critical effects, you probably got a bug that fire keeps burning at 0 timer. And don't Igni or Rend those exploding barrels when you're too close, when it explodes, even at full health, you gotta die instantly, same goes for rotfiends.
