Can't load save game: Missing Hair and Beards set?
When I try to load my save game I get the following error:
"You are missing the following content required to open this save game: Hair and Beards Set"

Anyone else having this problem? How do I install the Hair and Beards set?

Have the same problem and I dont have any idea how to solve it. Even reinstalled the game

Ah I got the game through GOG, and there's an option to download the first free DLC, the Beard and Hairstyle set + the Temerian Armor set. Maybe you don't have them yet?

Same issue for me. I first downloaded the game at work and played it for 30 minutes. Didn't ever see anything about this DLC. Then I come home, try to load up my save-game, and I get the described error.
I see the DLC in Steam, and it says it has added it to my client, but has the status "Not Installed". There is no option that I can find to "Install" it either ?? Help needed, don't want to start a new game.

Yes today i got a 30mb patch and DLCs appeared on DLC section. But cant find them anywhere. Any tips pls? Do i need to start a new game? THanks.

I read this "You can get this DLC armor from the Merchant that you saved from the Griffin at the beginning of the game. He will be selling the following two set of equipment after you download the DLC." for the horse armor

Thanks for that screenshot. On on my screen the install column shows the status "not installed" for both DLC. But the checkboxes are checked. I can't seem to find any option to change that status to "installed".

Edit: started a new game now...can't wait forever :)

Not sure if its too late but I saw this on another forum to install it "To add this DLC to Steam: Go into internet explorer(which browser you use) and enter these into the URL bar:

steam://install/370000
steam://install/370001

Press Okay and it will add it to your account. "

Coming back here to find a solution. Coming home my new save-games (that I opened fine at work) won't open anymore again. Same reason. Does anyone know how to get a "not installed" status to an "installed" status?

Try having the DLC checked and then going to "Local Files" and running "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" one file will always fail to validate on any game don't worry about it being just one. I'm not having an issue with those two DLC but my Expansion Pass is saying not-installed but maybe that's where the DLC for it hasn't been released yet

If the sets are checked, then that are installed...supposedly. :-/

Tried everything mentioned here and no luck...
All I did to create this problem was reinstall the game :(

Steam store lists the Hair and Beard DLC already "In Library". Properties>DLC says "You currently have no downloadable content for this product". Verifying game content does nothing.

40 hours in and so far it's the best game I've played in years. I'll be heartbroken if I have to restart.

That's strange because the Hair and Beard DLC is free. Have you tried restarting Steam?
