Report a translation problem
1) thinner and lighter usually means hotter and more throttling, and
2) some laptops might see power-related throttling as well -- you'll need a decent PSU if both your GPU and CPU are fairly high-end.

Play on Ultra 30 FPS.... but bug with cut sciens need fix
The 970M isn't much lower than the 980M, you might not make it on Ultra, but it should run at least on High. Also, most laptops are only pushing 1080p, so much easier on the GPU than a higher resolution monitor.
Honestly, it works just fine on Medium using my old desktop with a 760 and an AMD FX 4100 in it, only a little bit of a frame drop in the first hour when they gryphon screamed at me, and that benchmarks considerably lower than anything with a 970M inside.
