Getting stuck in inventory and menus?

Has any one else been getting stuck in inventory and menus? It wont let me exit them or save or anything. Right now stuck in inventory, and can move stuff around. (equip and stuff but can't get out). I have to force quit the game before going abck. Loosing progress. really annoying.

Yes, happened to me mutiple times, great game though, it usually happens when i swap food

thats happened to me too... third time! the game runs fine, about 40-50 fps with i5 and 970ti, shadows medium, everything else ultra. but game keeps freezin in inventory, don't wanna play anymore :(

My game is running fine, except for this. They really should patch this up soon as possible. People gripping about Graphics aside (looks amazing by the way) it's kinda breaking it for me. I'm sure it is with others too. Expecially when I go kill a bunch of things and then POOF. Woops! Froze on inventory and now you have to do it all over again!

I found that hitting the Esc key doesn't work, but there's an exit button at the top right of the screen you can click. That works for me when it gets stuck.

Yes, I have been "stuck" in menus. Currently I am stuck in the"start-up" menu. I was in the English version. I wanted to figure out if a Mandarin (spoken Chinese) was avialable. I found the menu and did not find any spoken Chinese. I didn't realize that my mouse had inadvertly hit my keyboard. When I tried going up menu I was in Arabic! I can't figure out in Arabic how to switch to English, so the game is dead to me at this point, unless someone has the answer. After some thought about this, I think I know what needs to be done. It is simple. Each selection in the opening menu should be proceded by a number line, so that when explaining how to pick English it would be easier by just giving the series of numbers (line number) that would get you there.

Ugh, still getting this bug in 2019, at least your tip helped me out of the inventory. You can't even ALT+F4 out of the game when stuck like this.

It's not because of any kind of hardware or graphic issues, it's obviously due to misleaded tutorials that instruct you to equip something and won't let you proceed unless you do that even if the hints disappear. Thunderbolt potion prior to first griffyn encounter is the typical example.

how is this still a thing..
