For those wondering.........Core I3 will run Witcher 3

I know there were some folks wondering if a Core I3 could run Witcher 3. The answer is yes. I have the Alienware Alpha base model as a backup. I have it hooked to my 55 inch Samsung in the living room.

Intel Core I3 4130T 2.90

The only thing I have done was upgrade the RAM from 4GB to 16GB. I have settings mostly on Medium.......a few on low. No hair effects stuff on. I have VSync on because of the TV, and framerate lockeed at 30fps. It looks and runs surprisingly well. I know 30fps is not ideal, but it is def playable and I havent experimented too much yet to see how high I can actually go.

This was just some info for those that were asking. Go ahead and flame away because I have the Alienware Alpha. I could care less.

You realise its not directly whether its an i3 or not, its whether the model of I3 you are using is fast enough, some wont be, some will be.

For instance you resurrected this post from 6 years ago. Any modern I3 can run this fine @1080p as long as you have a half decent gpu.
