Save import, tattoo.
Hey, so yeah when starting a new game it asked me if Id like to import my saves from the Witcher 2, I chose yes ofc. After pressing the yes button it just continued and didnt aske me which or where the file might be, just started the new game. Now heres the kicker; I had in my The Witcher 2 run the tattoo from the blue stripes and Miles Tost from CD Projek confirmed via Twitter that the tatoo will carry over.
So my questions are: Did someone else manage to carry over the tatoo?
Is it buggy?
Did I actually ♥♥♥♥ up with the savegame importing?

Im still in the beginner town (White Orchard is the english name I blieve) So I didnt meet Emhyr the hedhog yet.

I have the tattoo from imported save file (final autosave from Witcher 2). It should be visible immediately when Geralt is having a bath right at the start of the game.

Did you pick the right save file? It's name should be something like "autosave_373" (pick the one with highest number, that's the one from the Witcher 2 ending).

Welp looks like something went wrong on my side then. May I ask if you where your savefiles are located? (steam folder or my documents) and how many savefiles are there? (only the last one or all of them)

thanks man

I have the save fro TW2. I created the folders but the only option that I get at new game are to simulate TW2.

How do you guys imported the save?

I have Witcher 2 installed, so it's picking them automatically from my Steam folder.

Here are the paths if you don't have Steam Cloud Sync enabled: http://www.polygon.com/2015/5/18/8622791/witcher-3-import-steam-save

If you use Cloud you can find them here: (...)Steam\userdata\<user>\20920\remote\

Waaaait :). You don't have to, just put them in the correct folder. Create it, if it's not there.

Hey, it works for me now, looks like I accidently chose something else then import save button because navigating with the xbox 360 gamepad is kinda wonky in the menus.

I have the steam version from Witcher 2 and have my savefiles both in the normal steamfolder location and copied them over the my documents location (My documents/witcher2/gamesaves

I tried this already, it doesn't work for some reason.

Yea kinda regretting ordering a XBONE controller now, playing with m+kb feels so much better especially after rebinding the stupid binds.
